Marietta realtor Sam Teasley (R-Marietta) announced his candidacy for the House District 38 seat in the Georgia House of Representatives. A Cobb County native, Sam is running to provide common-sense conservative leadership that is committed to Georgia leading the nation in creating quality jobs, making thoughtful investments in transportation infrastructure, and breaking the logjam in reforming public education. As a small business person, Sam recognizes that “government has to be held accountable to balance its books and not pass on a legacy of debt and government dependency to our children. Our schools must prepare our children to compete and win in the global marketplace and to value the unique freedoms we enjoy as Americans.” Sam and his wife Michelle, a school teacher, have three children and are active in their church and community.
